TENVY Advisors LLP · Malad East, Mumbai · Serving clients across India and abroad

What we do

TENVY handles the FEMA and RBI filings that cross-border investment creates — FC-GPR, FC-TRS, the annual FLA return, downstream investment, ECB, ODI and APR — and fixes past delays through the Late Submission Fee route or compounding, so foreign-owned companies and Indian investors abroad stay compliant.

Common questions

When must Form FC-GPR be filed?

Form FC-GPR must be filed on the RBI FIRMS portal through the company's bank within 30 days of allotting shares or other eligible instruments to a person resident outside India.

What is the due date for the FLA return?

The Annual Return on Foreign Liabilities and Assets (FLA) is due by 15 July each year, reporting the position as on 31 March. It applies to Indian companies and LLPs that have received foreign investment or made overseas investment.

What happens if a FEMA filing is late?

Delayed reporting can usually be regularised by paying a Late Submission Fee, within the time allowed under the regulations. Beyond that, the matter may need compounding, which is slower and costlier, so it is better to file on time.
